Sewer Pipe Bursting

Sewer Pipe Bursting – A method of replacing sewer sewer pipe by pulling a new sewer line in place of the old. The finished product is a brand new sewer line, NOT a relined sewer pipe (pipe relining)

This method is performed by excavating an access hole at each end of the existing sewer line that needs to be replaced. Then after inserting the equipment into the damaged sewer line, A new sewer line is pulled into the place of the old line while bursting the old line from the inside out.

Pipe bursting is performed in order to eliminate 90% of the excavation that is typically needed to replace a buried sewer line. This makes the sewer line replacement project less invasive to the landscape above the existing faulty buried sewer line.
