Water Pipe Pulling

Water Pipe Pulling:

This images shows the act of pipe pulling. Showing a large machine labeled high strength pulling machine. Below it is a pipe underneath a house where new pipe is being pulled through.

Water Management Inc. based out of North Brunswick, New Jersey, serving all counties in New Jersey. Pipe pulling is mostly used in condo and townhomes. Pipe pulling is a very clean installation. It requires digging a single hole in the front yard at the water valve location (curb valve).

Next, inside the home, a small hole is cut in the concrete floor around the water pipe (near the water meter). A cable is inserted into the old water line from the interior of the home out to the exterior of the home.

Then, using a high strength pulling machine, a new water line is pulled in place of the old water line.

The new water line is connected to the curb valve at the exterior of the home and water meter inside the home.  Finally, the concrete hole is patched and the curb valve excavation point is backfilled.
